Filling Green Protein shake

  • 1/2 frozen banan
  • 1/3 avacado
  • 6 oz coconut kefir or dairy free yogurt with cultures I like Forager cashew yogurt
  • 2 big handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 serving collagen or plant protein powder
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • water or other milk for thinning, amount based on desired consistency


  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend until creamy. Add more dairy free milk or water if you prefer a thinner consistency. Sprinkle with cinnamon or cacao if desired.


Health note: this shake works as a meal replacement because it has a full serving of protein, good amount of healthy fats, carbs and fiber. You can also have this as a post-workout snack! It's thick, creamy and very soothing on the gut.
